We offer Speech Pathology Services for children from birth to 18 years of age. Supporting children with:
FEES & FUNDING
Private Clients
Standard Therapy Session — $210.00
Private clients are charged a flat session fee of $210 for the standard therapy session described above.
Additional participant-specific clinical services outside the standard therapy session are billed at $193.99/hour, charged proportionally according to the time required.
Medicare rebates may be available with an eligible GP referral or Chronic Disease Management Plan.
Private health rebates may also be available depending on your level of cover.
Our administration team is happy to answer any questions regarding funding and claiming options.
NDIS Clients
Standard Therapy Session — $211.45
NDIS participants are billed in accordance with the current NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits.
The standard therapy session described above is invoiced as:
45 minutes of direct therapy
20 minutes of participant-specific non-face-to-face support
in line with current NDIS billing requirements.
Additional participant-specific clinical services outside the standard therapy session may also be billed where clinically required at the applicable NDIS therapy rate.
Travel
Travel charges apply for services delivered outside the clinic, including schools, preschools, childcare centres, homes and community settings.
Travel is billed at 50% of the applicable therapy rate, capped at 30 minutes each way.Where multiple participants are seen at the same location, travel costs may be shared proportionally.
Standard Therapy Sessions
All standard therapy sessions at Embrace Speech Pathology include:
45 minutes of direct therapy, and
Up to 20 minutes of participant-specific non-face-to-face clinical time associated with your child's appointment.
This participant-specific clinical time may include session planning, clinical documentation, therapy analysis, routine resource preparation and communication directly related to your child's appointment.The way these services are billed differs between private and NDIS funding arrangements.
Assessment Fees
Assessment reports are billed at $193.99 per hour for both private and NDIS participants.
The time required to complete an assessment report varies depending on the complexity of the assessment and the level of clinical analysis required. Some reports may take approximately two hours to complete, while more comprehensive reports may require several hours.
The number of assessment sessions required also varies depending on the type of assessment being completed. While some assessments can be completed in a single session, more comprehensive language, literacy or developmental assessments may require two or more appointments.
